Sold by way of MidStreet Mergers and Acquisitions in 2014, Just For the Beach Rentals is an equipment rental company on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
About the Sellers
Sam Wise and Wanda Wise were well-known in the community for excellent customer service and high-quality equipment. From its locations in Corolla and Kill Devil Hills, Just For the Beach offered an assortment of beach equipment and other sporting goods including kayaks, surfboards, bikes, beach chairs, grills, strollers, and wheelchairs. Just for the Beach catered to the more than 7 million vacationers that flock to the Outer Banks every summer for vacation.
After relocating to the Outer Banks in 2005 from Pennsylvania, the Wises operated their first business – Face to Face Window Cleaning – which they acquired and eventually sold with the help of MidStreet.
After successfully growing and selling their window cleaning business, Sam and Wanda purchased Just for the Beach Rentals. They saw immediate success. Looking to expand, they acquired a second equipment rental business through MidStreet.
Deciding to Sell
After years of improving Just for the Beach Rentals, Sam and Wanda decided it was time to sell and move on to their next venture.
“I started seeing some things that just didn’t make sense to me anymore," said Sam.
The sale was completed by Jeffery Baxter, President of MidStreet Mergers and Acquisitions. To date, Sam and Wanda Wise have completed six transactions with the assistance of MidStreet.
