Originally established in 1977, the business has not only thrived in the local climate but also adapted to the changing economic landscape. The company built its reputation on offering an extensive range of quality products, from awnings and shutters to shades, providing their clientele with functional, stylish solutions for sun and storm protection.

In 2021, the company's third owner, Scott Bodemann approached MidStreet Mergers & Acquisitions in hopes of finding a suitable buyer for the successful business.

This powerful tool provided potential buyers with a clear view of the company's operations, product quality, and customer service. The Sale Process

MidStreet was able to find a perfect match for Wilmington Awning, Shutter and Shade within a few months. After meticulous evaluation of several offers, Scott Bodemann decided to sell the business to local entrepreneurs, Kim and Holden Quinn, a father and son duo.

Kim Quinn founded Prima Tech USA in the early '90s. The company specialized in designing, developing, manufacturing, and distributing animal health products worldwide through veterinary distribution and multinational pharmaceutical companies. In November 2013, Quinn sold his company to Neogen Corp. (NASDAQ: NEOG). Recently, he has been overseeing the development of two coastal residential communities owned by his family and managing other private investments through KMQ, Inc.

His son, Holden Quinn, brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the business. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from High Point University, Holden is eager to learn and contribute to his family's latest venture. He also brings valuable experience from his previous job an Account Manager for MegaCorp Logistics.

Since taking over the business in June 2022, Kim and Holden have worked tirelessly to continue the company's success. They have implemented new marketing strategies, expanded the product line, and improved customer service. Scott Bodemann: The Next Chapter

Scott Bodemann, the former owner of Wilmington Awning, Shutter and Shade, embarks on a new venture in the business world as the Chief Operating Officer of Easy Denture.
